PRACTICAL INFO

Know Before You Go

Diu Beaches

Three main beaches — Nagoa (families, popular, palm-fringed), Chakratirth (rocky, dramatic, quieter), Ghoghla (closest to the mainland bridge, calmer). All clean and free. Nagoa is safest for swimming.

Food In Diu

Unlike Gujarat, Diu freely serves non-veg and seafood — it's a Union Territory. Fresh pomfret, lobster, and prawns at very reasonable prices. Some of the best coastal seafood on the Saurashtra coast.

Getting Around Diu

Rent a scooter for Day 3 — Diu is tiny and scooter is the best way to cover beaches, fort, and heritage spots without depending on autos. Most hotels arrange rentals at ₹300–500/day.
